My background

My passion for Africa began when I was 16 years old, and my father took me on an incredible walking safari along the mighty Zambezi River in Mana Pools, Zimbabwe. It was, and still is, one of the most memorable trips to Africa I have had.

I never knew of a morning in Africa when I woke up that I was not happy.

This trip defined my career in the travel industry and, over the past 24 years I have been lucky enough to plan a multitude of unique adventures in Africa for clients. During this time, I have also had the opportunity to work in Tanzania and Kenya and have visited most parts of Southern and East Africa.

To choose my favourite destination would be an impossible task as each country offers so many incredible experiences; what other continent gives you the chance to trek for gorillas and chimpanzees, search high in the forests for lemurs and sifakas, cast your eyes out to spot humpback whales breaching, and witness one of the greatest wildlife migrations on the planet?

Not only that, but each country is rich in its own culture, beliefs and ancient traditions, and I would always encourage clients to delve deeper and learn more from the vibrant people they meet whilst on safari.
