Free flying in Zimbabwe offer to include Mana Pools

Coinciding with the seasonal reopening of Wilderness Chikwenya and Wilderness Ruckomechi on 01 April 2024, Wilderness has expanded its unbeatable Free Flying offer to now include the spectacular Mana Pools region in Zimbabwe, in addition to the other Wilderness Air routes to/from Hwange National Park, Toka Leya in Zambia and between Wilderness camps in Botswana.

This offer is applicable for all new bookings from now until 20 November 2025. Full-paying guests who book a minimum of six nights in Wilderness’ Botswana, Livingstone and/or Hwange and Mana Pools camps will receive the first three flights or road transfers on a complimentary basis. Bookings of a minimum of eight or more nights will receive the first four flights or road transfers for free.

“With April marking the beginning of our 2024 Mana season, we hope this fantastic offer will entice more safari enthusiasts to visit Wilderness Chikwenya, Ruckomechi or Little Ruckomechi, and to experience the magic of Mana Pools; there is nothing quite like experiencing exclusive Zambezi River access and all that this pristine wilderness has to offer first-hand”, noted Dean Morton, Managing Director of Wilderness Zambezi.

“Both Chikwenya and Ruckomechi embody the essence of an authentic bush camp experience, offering the personal service, intimacy and warmth for which our tented camps are renowned. Situated in private concessions, our guests enjoy an abundance of activities, including guided walks, exhilarating game drives, boating excursions and thrilling fishing adventures (catch-and-release), ensuring that there is truly something for everyone”, added Dean.

Renowned for its diversity of wildlife, the region offers regular predator sightings, including lion and leopard. Guests can witness classic Mana scenes, such as large herds of elephants feeding off the prolific albida trees' seed pods. Birders will delight in over 450 recorded species, while hippos and Nile crocodiles abound in the river.

“Combined with our extraordinary wildlife offering in Hwange, and beautiful Zambezi River experience at Toka Leya in Livingstone, this offer gives our guests a range of options to choose from to ensure an immersive safari experience. There is no better time to visit the Zambezi region and to create lasting memories while making a positive impact to the ongoing protection of these extraordinary wilderness areas”, concluded Dean.
