The Ultimate African Bush experience

"This is the real deal. The Busanga plains are loaded with red lechwe, puku, some herds of ellies, prides of lion. However, the camp and all the people working there are delightful, efficient, knowledgeable, thoughtful. Lemon, the chef, produces delicious, creative food from a hot, small kitchen. and you simply can't resist. We had an amazing sighting of a croc taking a lechwe as he was drinking. Within two seconds the poor thing was gone down under. Best birding we've ever had with charming guide, Pyben. Hot air balloon safari with Eric, where we topped the trees and looked down on the vultures is not to be missed. Loved it! However October is very hot, mornings and evenings being lovely but during the day you can only lie on the bed and douse yourself with cool cloths. The shower water remains cool. That is a saving grace. It's a special camp indeed."

"BBC is quite different to the other camps we stayed at on this trip - smaller, more rustic, but more authentic. We really liked the ambience provided by manager Mutali, and staff like Winnie. The food was always delicious and beautifully presented. Our guide Sam was very knowledgable and delighted in locating Queen and her lion family for us to watch, as well as other animals. The landscape is so open it is amazing that animals can be hidden so easily! It was quite exciting to have Queen near my tent when we arrived and a lion outside my tent that night. We also enjoyed the hot air balloon ride, which gives an entirely different perspective to what can be seen from the ground."

"Incredible spot in the wild!! Busanga Bushcamp is such stunning setting to sit and watch the wildlife cruise by on the open floodplain...The luxury safari tents are rustic and classy, with great views of the open plains. The Wilderness vehicles are top of the range, well thought out and well maintained. The food and service was exceptional. The highlight was definitely the sunrise hot air balloon... floating over lions on a kill while watching the sunrise from above....Wow just wow!!
